The 1953-53 shirt was an elegant light blue polo. The collar was buttonless and white as were the cuffs at the end of the short-sleeves.

The shorts were also white while the socks were black with a light blue and white band near the top.

This was the shirt in which Lazio played their first ever full season at the Olimpico. Their debut had been at the end of the previous season (Lazio vs Juventus, May 24 1953).

There were several alternatives. The first was probably the same as, or very similar to, the shirt worn in the previous season: the traditional light-blue V-neck jersey.

There is also the possibility that a white version of this shirt was worn against Fiorentina on 22 November 1953. In the photographs published on LazioWiki, the shirt appears very pale, so white is a reasonable interpretation.

Another alternative was a maroon shirt, used in the home matches against SPAL and Inter. It appears to have been similar in style to the traditional shirt, but with long sleeves and a lighter, polo-style collar. It is possible that the collar was a darker shade rather than white, but this cannot be established from the available photographs, so we have opted for white in our reconstruction.

Using AI, we have recreated these three possible versions of Lazio's shirts for the 1953-54 season.
