Fisayo Dele-Bashiru is a Nigerian International who plays as midfielder for Lazio

Oluwafisayo Faruq Dele-Bashiru, better known as Fisayo, was born in Lagos on February 9, 2001.
At an early age his family moved to the UK and at eight he joined the Manchester City academy. In July 2020 he signed for Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship making 13 appearances that season. They were relegated but he stayed another two years, helping their return to the second tier in 2022-23. In total he played 86 games with six goals for the club.
In 2023 he signed for Hatayspor in the Turkish Super League contributing with a decisive goal in the final game to their staying in the top tier. That season he made 39 appearances and nine goals attracting the attention of Lazio with whom he signed in July 2024.
It was a mixed season for him and the club. Good start and very poor finish. He did at times impress for his physical qualities and one could see he had an enormous room for improvement. He played 29 games with five goals and was confirmed, even though the transfer block probably had a part in it. Under Maurizio Sarri he again showed great physical abilities and skills, but has much to learn from a tactical point of view.
