Born in Lagos, Nigeria on February 6 2001, he moved to the UK at a very early age.

He is a product of the Manchester City youth teams and played for Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship and League One (second and third tier).

In 2023-24 he played in Turkey with Hatayspor.

Dele-Bashiru is a midfield player who can play both in front of the defence as well as behind the forwards.

Strong right foot, he is a very physical player. He also has two caps with Nigeria.
