Lazio Bayer Leverkusen 3-1
Excellent game from Lazio who crushed Bayer Leverkusen, but lost on form Felipe Anderson through injury

Lazio were in their pre-season training period. After the initial few weeks at Auronzo di Cadore, they had moved to Walchsee in Austria. They had already played four friendlies, the latest one a win against Spal.
Today was the first real test, an important game seeing that Lazio would play Juventus on August 13 for the Supercoppa.
The match
In the 15th minute Felipe Anderson dispossessed a German defender and raced towards the penalty box. He was unable to beat two defenders and the keeper but he then managed to win the ball and pass back to Ciro Immobile who shot wide.
Four minutes later Ciro made no mistake. Luis Alberto to Alessandro Murgia whose chest control became an assist for Immobile who dribbled past Bernd Leno and scored.
A couple of minutes later Felipe Anderson crossed into the middle, a defender missed the ball, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic tried a shot which was parried into corner by Leno. In the 27th minute Immobile gave a good ball to Felipe Anderson about 50 metres from the goal. The Brazilian raced forward and tried a lob which was only slightly too high. In the 33rd minute Kevin Volland hit the crossbar on a freekick.
In the 41st minute again Felipe Anderson dispossessed a German defender and raced towards the box, one-two with Immobile, 2-0 for Lazio.
In the beginning of the second half Leon Bailey tried a shot from a favourable position but Thomas Strakosha saved into corner. In the 52nd it was Karim Bellarabi who had a chance but again the Albanian keeper managed to save. Three minutes later the Biancocelesti made it three. Luis Alberto intercepted a ball and passed to Immobile, one-two with Felipe Anderson and splendid curling shot from the King from just inside the box on the left.
The numerous substitutions subdued the game but Lucas Leiva on a Keita Balde assist in the 79th minute missed an easy chance. Bayer scored in injury time with Dominik Kohr on a good low cross from Bailey from the right.
Lazio looking good. Pity that Felipe Anderson was forced to leave the pitch with an injury because he looked in great form.
