Game 36, Serie A
Saturday, May 9, 2026
Stadio Olimpico, Rome
Lazio Inter 0-3
Lazio looked completely uninterested in this game as Inter cruised to victory without too many problems

The team
Maurizio Sarri decided to put Nicolò Rovella back in the starting XI, probably to test him out for the Coppa Italia final in a few days' time. Matteo Cancellieri was put up front on the right, Pedro on the left and Tijjani Noslin through the middle. Will Lazio put up a fight, or are their minds already set on the final?
The match
The answer to the previous question is basically no. The Biancocelesti were far too passive and simply let Inter do what they wanted. There was no reaction after Lautaro Martínez's goal in the sixth minute, and even less after the Nerazzurri doubled their lead through Petar Sučić in the 39th.
After Alessio Romagnoli was sent off in the 59th minute for a dangerous foul on Ange-Yoan Bonny, it all seemed over. But Lazio suddenly woke up and created a few chances through Gustav Isaksen and Noslin. Henrikh Mkhitaryan's goal in the 76th minute, however, put the game beyond doubt.
Let's hope there will be more determination in the final. There must be.
