Luigi Uneddu was born in Tunis on December 18, 1915.
He started playing for Lazio at a young age and worked his way up to the first team debuting on December 2, 1934 in the game lost against Pro Vercelli. He made six appearances that season with two goals.
He stayed until 1937 playing 33 games with 9 goals with the first team but also playing in the reserves championship.
For the 1937-38 season he signed for Vigevano in Serie B. After a year he moved to Modena in Serie A. The club was relegated twice and promoted twice during his stint in Emilia Romagna and also reached the semi-final of the Coppa Italia in 1941-42 which they lost to Juventus.
After the war he played for Mantova, Bondenese and Faenza. With the latter he was also manager.
He died in Rome on January 20, 1995.
