Juventus Lazio 2-2
Lazio waste a two-goal advantage as Juventus manage to draw at the last second

The team
Maurizio Sarri decided to play Nuno Tavares rather than Luca Pellegrini following the good performance in the last part of the previous game against Genoa. Alessio Romagnoli still needed a little time to come back following his non transfer so Oliver Provstgaard was placed centre left of defence.
First half
Lazio very tight in defence and despite a territorial superiority from Juventus there were not really that dangerous. In the 16th minute Pierre Kalulu crossed into the box and Bremer tried a header which was well saved by Ivan Provedel. In the 32nd a volley from outside the box from Teun Koopmeiners went very close to the post.
As the first half was coming to an end, the Biancocelesti scored. Manuel Locatelli held the ball too long and Daniel Maldini took it away from him. He ran towards the box, passed to Pedro who tried a shot which was deflected by Bremer mis footing Michele Di Gregorio. Lazio ahead completely against the run of play.
Second half
Two changes in the interval. Fisayo Dele-Bashiru came on for injured Toma Basic and Edon Zhegrova for Juan David Cabal for Juve.
The home attacked but the Biancocelesti scored again. In the 47th minute splendid ball from Danilo Cataldi to Gustav Isaksen who raced away on the right, entered the box and sent a missile into the left-hand top corner. Amazing!!!
In the 55th Lazio should have made it three. Nuno Tavares from the left close to the by-line passed a splendid ball to Dele-Bashiru who went for the shot but fumbled. Juve said thank you very much and reduced the deficit. 59th minute, Zhegrova tried a shot which Provedel parried. The ball did not go out, Andrea Cambiaso from the left crossed, Mario Gila out of position and Weston McKennie headed past Provedel.
The Bianconeri sieged the Biancoceleste fort and Locatelli in the 64th minute tried a shot which went wide.
Sarri sent in Matteo Cancellieri and Tijani Noslin for the two goalscorers.
Another chance for Lazio in the 67th when Kenneth Taylor went off on the counter attack, pass to Maldini close to the box. He waited for Noslin to arrive on the left, low cross towards the centre for Taylor who tried a shot which went wide.
Massive chance for Juve in the 70th minute. One-two Jonathan David-Khéphren Thuram, the Canadian saw Provedel come for him, he crossed into the middle for Bremer but a fantastic defensive play from Nuno Tavares sent the ball into corner. In the 78th minute Zhegrova crossed from the left, McKennie touched the ball to Kenan Yıldız outside the box, splendid volley, great save from Provedel.
More substitutions. Alessio Romagnoli and Patric for Gila and Provstgaard for the Biancocelesti, Jérémie Boga, Fabio Miretti and Lois Openda for Cambiaso, Locatelli and McKennie for the Bianconeri.
Another massive chance for Lazio to close the game in the 86th minute. Taylor to Nuno Tavares on the counter attack on the left, close to the box he passed to Dele-Bashiru who touched centre for Noslin, shot into the stands.
Six minutes overtime. Last second. Boga crossed from the left, Romagnoli out of position, Pierre Kalulu all alone headed the ball in.
A great effort from Lazio squandered by two defensive errors.
