The season of the "what if". Lazio fought for the scudetto until the lockdown due to the outbreak of Covid but struggled to find form when the campionato resumed. They however managed to reach fourth place and a Champions League qualification plus win the Super Coppa. Ciro Immobile won the European Golden Shoe.
