Ludwigshafen Lazio 0-5
Biancocelesti demolish Ludwigshafen in their German post season tour

Post season the Biancocelesti went on a four-game tour of Germany. They had already played one match winning in Karlsruhe. Today they faced Ludwigshafen who had arrived seventh in the Gauliga Südwest/Mainhessen.
The match
Lazio started well and went ahead in the 10th minute. Silvestro Pisa sent a great ball over the German midfield to Umberto Busani who gave the ball a big whack which was deflected by a defender and ended up in the net. At this point the Biancocelesti took over play and scored another four goals in the first half. Ten minutes later it was 2-0. The three attacking players lightened up by a Bruno Camolese pass, went into attacking mode and Enrique Flamini scored his first. Four minutes later a similar play allowed Evaristo Barrera to pass to Pisa whose volley made it three.
Ludwigshafen at this point tried a comeback but the Lazio defence was a solid wall and the Romans soon scored again. In the 27th minute Pisa dribbled past three players and in front of the keeper faked to shoot one way and then placed it in the other corner making it 4-0. In the 32nd minute another spectacular play: Busani crossed inside the box, Barerra headed the ball to Flamini who volleyed it in.
Lazio controlled the match in the second half and went close a few times to a sixth with Luigi Vettraino but in general did not push too much. A fantastic win and demonstration of superiority and excellent news on the three new players Flamini, Barrera and Pisa.
