Lazio Trapani 3-1

A good training match for the Biancocelesti and an excellent game from Taty

The Biancocelesti had been in their pre-season training at Auronzo di Cadore and were now preparing for the start of Serie A. They had already played one game winning 23-0 against Auronzo. Today though was a more difficult game. Trapani were in the fourth tier.

The match

Lazio scored early in the game. In the 15th minute, Matteo Guendouzi just inside the box tried a shot which was handballed. Taty Castellanos took the spot kick, and it was 1-0 for the Biancocelesti. In the 18th minute Nuno Tavares went off on the left and passed centrally to Loum Tchanouna. His volley was well saved by the keeper.

In the 21st minute, Guendouzi crossed inside the box and Castellanos with a diving header made it 2-0. Nuno Tavares really impressed but after 22 minutes he was forced off through injury and replaced by Luca Pellegrini.

In the 31st minute Nicolò Casale lost the ball close to the halfway line, quick counter attack from Trapani and Oliver Kragl all alone in front of Ivan Provedel reduced the deficit. In the 44th minute Guendouzi crossed from the left, Matias Vecino tried a header, well saved again by Andrea Seculin.

A completely different 11 started the second half and in the 49th minute Tijani Noslin after a Pedro assist went close to making it three. In the 61st minute great play Sana Fernandes-Pellegrini who close to the byline crossed into the middle, Pedro tried a header, saved by the goalkeeper. Lazio continued to attack and attempts from Pellegrini and Pedro went close to the target. In the 86th minute the Trapani defence messed up and Noslin with a chipped ball made it 3-1.
